Podcast Episode 15: Joy at the Muslim Dinner
If you want to be involved in member missionary work, it’s important that you associate with people not of your faith! Attending dinners designed to strengthen mutual understanding and respect between various religious groups is a great place to do that.
In my case I was invited to attend the American Muslim Institution dinner in Springfield, Virginia a few years ago. Although I didn’t expect it, I was able to give out a copy of the Book of Mormon that night to the man who sat next to me at the table.
Without the book with me, this wouldn’t have happened. I rescued and held onto the book a few weeks earlier when I hauled away some books from my friends place. It’s a great story all the way around!
