JOY AFTER CHURCH
Jan. 25, 2015 After Church
Yesterday after walking out of church, I was almost to my car when a young lady who was walking by my car started talking to me. She said she had been invited to “that church” sometime in the past but hadn’t gone. So I re-invited her. Then I told her she was welcome anytime.
I gave her an Articles of Faith card and noticed she was reading it as I drove away. Her birthday is Feb. 8th. She said, “Hey, that could be my birthday present from God! I could come to your church on my birthday!” I thought that was a great idea.
As a result, I firmly believe that when I have these cards on my possession, God knows they are there. He then puts people in my pathway that I can help and there’s no way to anticipate those interactions. It’s a wonderful experience.
I also keep two of them in my wallet all the time. Because of the cover picture, I use the ones that have a picture of Jesus and the children on the front.

The young lady referred to below came to church today. Her name is Jackie. She enjoyed the meetings and had a lot of fun.
It was very reassuring to be able to help someone come to meet with us. This was the fourth time in her life (she’s 20) that she’s come to a church.

I got a call today from the ward mission leader of the Kentlands Ward. Jackie is getting baptized tonight!
Their good friends the Elliotts are playing a major role in the baptism. So all this started (from my perspective) from running into her outside the church and giving her an Articles of Faith card. What a great process! Needless to say, I’m full of joy!
