Podcast Episode 16: Joy with the Lyft Driver (Detroit Michigan Temple)
In October 2019, I made a quick trip to Detroit Michigan to visit the Detroit Michigan Temple. To get from the hotel to the temple, I took my first Lyft ride. I’m glad I did!
My Lyft driver was named Chantil. She had been driving for Lyft for about five weeks. She was a terrific lady who was very nice. When she asked more about where we were going it naturally led to a conversation about temples operated and owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I told her on the way there that she was welcome to come inside and see the foyer of the temple. She didn’t know she could do that! I think most people don’t know they can do that. She took me up on my offer and we had a wonderful experience.
